on the way to Clark's
I was driving (yes! I actually do own a car!) over to Clark's for a summer evening footbag session, and caught the light through this tree flaming. Only it was moreso in person. It's one of those trees that turns all mulberry plum purple colors. This is how it looks in September at about 6:30.

mmm...sunny when I woke up this morning (and well ahead of the alarm clock, I'll have you know..which is good...I don't like being jangled awake by false means...does anyone?). Had cut out a figure awhile ago for a stencil, thought of this papery personage among the foliage..snap!
